The first competition of foreign teachers’ demonstration classes
In order to sum up , communicate ,and promote the achievements of English teaching .We held a competition of foreign teachers’ demonstration classes in WeiMing primary school for two weeks. We want to commend a number of outstanding teachers who are eager to study,and have the courage to reform, teach,educate people;meanwhile we hope that the comprehensive quality of English teaching in our school could be promoted.
为了总结、交流英语教学经验，推广成果，进一步提高我校外教英语教学水平和能力。 表彰一批潜心研究、勇于改革、教书育人、教学成绩突出的优秀教师，促进我校外教综合素质的提高，使我校小学英语教学得到可持续的发展，武汉为明小学部举行了为期两周多的外教英语教学展示课活动。
Teacher Stuart was the first one to take the class whose theme for today is "four seasons of the year". First, he chose a very lively song of "12 months" to do warm-up activities with his pupils. Then he ingeniously adopted the changes in the color of a big tree for four seasons and derived today's theme 'four seasons'. According to the characteristics of every single season and the actual situation of Wuhan City.Teacher Stuart explain the four seasons' characteristics and their impacts on people's lives step by step. From a single word to a phrase to the end of the sentence to the text gradually. We had to say that this is an amazing way to teach students to learn a foreign language,isn’t it ?
第一位上课的老师是我们非常可爱的外教Stuart老师，他今天的主题是“一年当中的四个季节”。首先，他选了一首非常活泼的歌曲“12 months”来跟同学们一起做热身活动。紧接着他巧妙的采用了一棵大树四个季节颜色的变化导出了今天的主题‘四个季节’。然后根据每个季节的特点结合武汉实际情况一步一步的讲解了四季的特色与变化，以及它们对人们生活所造成的影响。从单个单词到词组再到句子最后到篇章。层层递进，深入浅出的教学思路让在座的各位纷纷赞叹不已。
Next teacher to show us the class is Chasity.She presented a very lively and interesting English class in class (2) grade (1).
紧接着上 的便是我们的Chasity老师，本次她在国一（2）班给大家展示了一节生动活泼，妙趣横生的英语课。我们不得不感叹作为一个一年级孩子的外教，老师的整个课堂设计和组织能力真的是太棒了。
First of all, the teacher guided the students to sing the phonetic songs and do the actions together for warming up. This brought the students back to the English learning field quickly.Followed we reviewed the body parts and sentence structures.I have .... She/He has....etc. Then we learnt some new letters and words. In this class, we can see that every steps connected to each other closely.Moreover ,there are many different games and activities such as match,guess,dice game and mind map for practicing.They are so funny and attracting for the children.
首先老师用了26个字母语音歌将同学们迅速的带回到了英语的学习天地，然后是身体部位和句型结构的复习，紧接着就进入到了语音的复习和新内容的教授。每个环节都采用了各种不同的方式来进行练习，包括连线，匹配，思维导图和郑骰子等等，十分有趣。
Teachers Alex showed us the next class .Since he used to teach high grade kids ,his teaching style is much different compare with the previous two teachers. He emphasized the class rules again before having today’s class. The theme for his class is festivals,and it is a reading class.Before reading ,he pre-teached all the new words and introduced some special food and activities.The while-reading part,the teacher used many different ways to lead the pupils to read the story.After reading the story, there are many questions and exercises were waiting for the students. We can see that all procedures in this class, they are clear and special.
本轮上课的第三位老师是非常帅气的外教Alex老师，他上课的班级是国5（1）班，与之前两位外教老师相比，Alex老师的风格却略有不同。课前，他就严肃跟同学们强调了一遍课堂规则，然后才开始今天的内容教学。今天的主题是，节日，老师在读前铺垫了各种特色食品，和活动，读后设 了各种不同的练习来训练孩子们的掌握程度，各个环节之间环环相扣，十分清晰明了。
Subsequently, the foreign teachers Freddy, Chantalle, Molly finished theirs classes.They carefully designed the teaching process, effectively organized classroom activities, harmonious classroom atmosphere, and harmonious activities between teachers and students, so that every attending teacher here benefited a lot.
随后外教老师Freddy, Chantalle, Molly依次进行了本月的展示课，他（她）们精心设计教学流程，有效组织课堂活动，课堂氛围融洽，师生活动和谐，让在座的每一位听课老师都受益匪浅。
These English classes competition provides a platform for the teachers to exchange and display, so that the foreign teachers of our school have been practicing in the classroom and growing up in the preparation. In the next stage, the teachers will continue to go into the classroom, study the classroom, change the classroom, and improve the effectiveness of the classroom activities. Let's look forward to the next exhibition of foreign teachers.
本r优质课竞赛活动为我校外教老师们提供了交流展示的平台，让我校外籍教师在课堂上历练，在准备中成长！下一阶段,外教们会继续深入课堂,研究课堂,改变课堂,提高课堂活动的有效性。让我们期待下一次的外教展示课活动。
