小学部外教6月份展示课活动总结
In June, the heterogeneous activities between Chinese English teachers and Foreign teachers were successfully concluded. It lasted about two weeks, and over those two weeks, we have seen that the organization level of heterogeneous activities has been greatly improved compared with last year. It also can be seen that both Chinese and foreign English teachers have devoted a lot of efforts for this activity. Moreover, it fully demonstrated the teaching level and ability of all English teachers. The teaching material for this activity is SSRW (Sing, Spelling, Reading ,Writing).
6月份的中外教同课异构活动已圆满结束，此次展示课持续两周左右，在这两周多的时间里，我们看到了同课异构活动组织水平较上次而言有了很大的提升。也看到中外教英语老师们为了此次同课异构活动圆满完成付出了大量的心血与努力。通过此次活动也充分展示了中外教英语老师们超高的教学水平和教学能力。此次同课异构的内容为外教语音读本SSRW及阅读教材Bright Readers.
The first pair of teachers to share their lessons were Chantalle and Mandy. The topic for their classes was: Phonetic Storybook 9 ( A Fort for Kevin and Kate) and/or phonics.
First of all, teacher Chantalle showed us a very complete and interesting English class which included singing, listening, speaking, reading and writing in Class 1 Grade 2.She began her lesson with an echo review of 26 letters and silent e. After review, Chantalle moved into her main topic for the lesson, phonics. Students sang the letter cluster song in order to practice the phonics necessary for reading. Finally, Chantalle lead her class in reading in a number of ways and writing keys words and sentences. Step by step, one by one. We can see the whole design and structure is so clear and obvious. Comparing with teacher Mandy, it seems that teacher Chantalle’s class focused more on words and phonics practice. In contrast, teacher Mandy’s class spent more time working with the story. We can see that the teachers’ teaching style are totally different from these two classes but both were very effective.
第一组同课异构的老师分别是外教Chantalle和中教Mandy老师。她们所讲的题目是：Phonetic Storybook 9 ( A Fort for Kevin and Kate),以及or字母组合的发音。首先，Chantalle老师在国二（1）班给我们展示了一节非常完整有趣的英文听说读写课。先从26个字母的发音开始复习，紧接着是不发音的e,从不发音的e导入到今天要学的or发音。再接着是歌曲和拼读的练习来进行单词操练。最后到故事的阅读和重点单词以及句子的抄写。层层递进，环环相扣。与Mandy老师的课相比，Chantalle老师的课更侧重于单词的学习与操练，而Mandy老师的课则更侧重故事的学习和欣赏。风格各异，却各有千秋。
The second pair of teachers with the same topic was Molly and Shawn. The topic for their classes was: Phonetic Storybook 15 (A Flat Tire) and phonics. They each gave high quality English lessons in Class 3 and Class 6 for Grade 3 respectively. Comparing with teacher Molly’s class, teacher Shawn’s class looks more active and creative.
第二组同课异构的老师是外教Molly和中教Shawn. 她们此次的话题是：Phonetic Storybook15”关于ar的发音”和: 故事A Flat Tire.Molly 和Shawn老师分别在国3（3）和国3（6）各上了一节高质量，高水准的英语课，各有亮点。然而风格确是完全不同，与Molly老师相比，Shawn老师设计的课显得更生动新颖一些。而Molly老师的课则更稳重，更传统一些。
The last pair of teachers to present their lessons were Ariel and Lilian. Their topic for the class was past-tense verbs and the story Wolves and Bears.Unlike the previous lessons, these two classes belong to the high grade. So the teaching styles used are quite different when compared with the lower grades. The atmosphere of teacher Ariel’s class was quite relaxed. She began her class with a review of past tense verbs and had students find examples in their story. She then explained how to change the past tense of different verbs. After that, Ariel guided the students to read the story in different ways and practiced re-telling. Teacher Lilian, on the other hand, took the role and plot of the story as a starting point to explain and analyze on a deep level. The objectives of teacher Ariel’s class were clear and effective but there seemed to be deeper context and comprehension in teacher Lilian’s class. So, that’s the difference between them.
此次活动最后一组同课异构的老师是外教Ariel和中教Lilian. 她们此次的话题是：”关于动词的过去式变化以及故事Wolves and Bears. 这是两节高段故事课，相对前面的老师们而言，她们的风格显得又有些不同了。Ariel老师的这节课营造了一个相对轻松的一个学习氛围。从文中找动词过去式来进行总结和学习，再进行各种形式的故事阅读。而Lilian老师则是从故事中的角色和情节作为切入点来进行故事的分析与讲解。两者相对而言，前者目的明确，而后者则更有意境。
Later, teachers Freddy, Kofi, and Chasity presented their demonstration classes in turn.
Through this shared activity, teachers have deeply realized that "two different teachers teach the same topic" creates a platform to discuss teaching ideas, exchange teaching design, and display their personal teaching styles. It is an effective way to do teaching and research discussion.In this activity, both the instructor and the listeners have benefited greatly.As an instructor, you not only can show your teaching ability on stage but also can compare and exchange ideas. As a listener, you can see the multi-angle and omni-directional thinking from the sparks of several teachers which allows each teacher to reflect on their own teaching practice, thus you can effectively promote professional growth as a teacher.
The foreign teachers would start a new round of classes with the advice we talked this time. Let’s look forward to them.
随后外教Freddy ,Kofi, Charsity依次进行了本月的展示课.通过此次展示课活动，使教师们深刻地体会到：“同课异构” 作为一种教学研讨形式，为我们广大教师搭建了一个畅谈教学思想、交流教学设计和展示教学风格的平台，是一种有效的教研方式。在活动中，无论是对于执教者还是听课者，都受益匪浅。作为执教者，不但能在课堂教学的大舞台上尽显所能，而且还可以在相互的比较和学习中，充分认识到自己对教材的理解和处理等方面与他人的差异，从而达到优势互补、相互切磋与共同提高的目的。而作为听课者，不但能从几位老师智慧火花的迸射中有了对教学活动多角度、全方位的思考，而且还能结合自身教学实践进行教学反思，从而有效地促进了教师专业化成长。
下一阶段,外教教师们会继续深入课堂,研究课堂,改变课堂,提高课堂活动的有效性。让我们期待下一次的外教展示课活动。
