聚焦课堂管理    分享高效策略

At 8:00 a.m. on September 22,2020. All the foreign teachers from International Department of Weiming primary school held a regular teaching and research meeting. The theme of this teaching research is to share the experience of classroom management.

2020年9月22日上午8:00，武汉为明学校小学国际部全体外教组织召开了本学期第二次外教教研例会。本次教研是由外教Chanelle来做“课堂管理”的经验分享。

Effective classroom management requires awareness, patience, good timing, boundaries, and instinct. Teacher Chanelle shared her experience on classroom management through the following eight aspects in her teaching and research.

1. Set rules, boundaries, and expectations (and do it early).
2. Be mindful of your mood. Your attitude as the teacher really determines what the tone and environment of your classroom is like.
3. Build relationships with your students. Building relationships with students through strategies like greeting them on the corridor is a good start. It’s also necessary to maintain them over the course of the school year, and to repair them when conflicts arise.
4. Develop an effective quiet signal. During activities you need a good quiet signal to get students back quickly so you can move on.
5. Give behaviour specific praise. Instead of focusing on specific students, offer praise for the behavior you want to reinforce. For example, rewarding students when they are seated properly or participating in class.
6. Actively supervise. Be active, move around the room, check in on student progress, and ask questions.
7. A dose of fun.
8. Be fully prepared.

外教Chanelle在今天的教研上通过如下八几个方面进行了课堂管理的经验分享。

1.设定规则、界限和期望（并尽早执行）。

2.注意你的情绪。你作为老师的态度决定了你的课堂气氛。

3.与学生建立关系。通过在走廊上互相问好等方式，与学生建立关系是一个良好的开端。在整个学年中，也有必要对其进行维护，并在发生冲突时进行修复。

4.发出有效的信号。在活动中，你需要一个好的信号，让学生很快回来，这样你就可以继续前进了。你的目标应该是让学生在3-5秒内完全安静下来。

5.给予行为上的特定表扬。不要把重点放在特定的学生身上，而是对你想强化的行为给予表扬。例如，当学生坐得适当或参加课堂时，奖励他们。

6.积极监督，积极主动：在教室里走动，检查学生的学习进度，并提出问题。

7.多一点乐趣。

8.课前做好充分的准备。

Classroom management is an art, reflecting the management ability of teachers to students. In the effective classroom management, the relationship between teachers and students, students and students is harmonious, which is very beneficial to the development of teaching and students. After listening to teacher Chanelle's sharing, we all gained a lot, and we all shared each other’s effective methods of classroom management.

课堂管理是一门艺术，体现了教师对学生的管理能力，通过教师的有效管理，课堂能够发挥它最大的作用。在有效的课堂管理中，师生之间、生生之间的关系是融洽和谐的，这对于教学和学生的发展是极为有利的。在听过Chanelle老师的分享过后，大家都收获满满，并且也都分享了自己比较有效的一些课堂管理方法，相互学习。

Through this teaching and research sharing activity, all the foreign teachers broaden the ideas of classroom management, shared and learned more on effective classroom management methods, but also saw their own shortcomings and direction of efforts. In other words, classroom management is a subject that we constantly explore. It plays an important role in our education and teaching. We will work harder and harder in the following teaching and research meeting. Then we could do a better job and achieve our classroom objectives more effectively.

通过本次的教研分享活动，外教们拓宽了课堂管理的思路，分享并学习了更多有效的课堂管理方法，同时也看到了自己的不足和努力的方向。总之，课堂教学管理是我们不断探索的课题，它在我们的教育教学中起着重要的作用，我们只有不断的学习和改进课堂管理方法，才能更好实现我们教学目标和高效课堂。在后续的教研当中，我们将更加努力，希望每一次教研都是一次进步！
