小学部外教12月份展示课活动总结

In order to improve the class efficiency and promote the development of discipline of foreign teachers, all the foreign teachers carried out the last round of demonstration classes in December 2020.

为了进一步提高外教课堂效率，推动英语学科实践活动开展，2020年12月，全体外教老师们顺利开展了本学期的最后一轮展示课活动。

Teachers Janelle and Chanelle were in the first group to show us the demonstration classes. They had their classes in grade 3 and 4 respectively. Through the classes, we could feel the charm of the English language, the combination of dynamic and static, as well as clear goals. There was frequent interaction between teachers and students with high efficiency. They demonstrated two wonderful classes.

外教Janelle和Chanelle老师率先给我展示了第一组公开课，她们授课的年级分别是三年级和四年级。通过她们的课堂，我们感受到了语言的魅力。动静结合，目标明确，师生互动频繁，课堂效率极高。这是两节非常成功的展示课。

The next group represented teachers Petty and Mya. Their teaching styles are unique. Teacher Petty's classroom activities were rich and interesting. She was good at mobilizing the classroom atmosphere, and students' participation was very high as well. In contrast, Mya's teaching style was more suitable for higher-grade students, with large teaching capacity and focus on the cultivation of students' reading ability. It was a difficult and in-depth class.

第二组上课的是外教Petty和Mya老师，她们的教学独具个人风格，Petty老师课堂活动非常丰富有趣，善于调动课堂气氛，学生参与度极高，老师教学内容由易到难，层层递进。相比之下，Mya老师的教学风格更适合高段学生，课堂容量大，侧于学生的阅读能力的培养，是一节有难度、有深度的课。

Then teachers Fafa and Farida represented us a phonics teaching and story reading classes respectively. Even these two class styles were different, we could still witness clear teaching objectives, clear key points which were at the same time difficult. Moreover, the activities were interesting and abundant. The students highly participated.

紧接着外教Fafa和Farida各自呈现了一节语音教学课和阅读教学课。虽然这两节课的课型不同，但相同的是目标明确，重难点突出，课堂教学活动丰富有趣，学生参与度高。

Teacher Stuart and Jane who are mainly responsible for teaching English in Berkeley classes were the last group to demonstrate the open classes. Their teaching styles were steady, and the teaching content was deep and difficult. They trained the pupils to practice a lot during the class. They used different reading methods to develop students' reading abilities. Before reading, they taught key vocabularies to help students make clear with most of reading obstacles. While reading, they used different strategies to stimulate students' interest in reading, such as questions and answers, filling in blanks, pictures walk, etc. After reading, they practiced the pre-designed effective activities to further consolidate and strengthen the understanding of the reading contents. During these two classes, we could see that the students gained a lot.

最后一组给我们带来展示的是外教老师Stuart和Jane,他们主要负责的是伯克利班的英语教学。他们的教学风格大气稳重，教学内容有深度、有难度，非常注重培养学生的口语表达能力以及语言运用能力。在这两节课堂中，学生表现力强，师生互动，生生互动频繁高效。老师采用了不同的阅读方式培养学生的阅读能力：读前，教授重点词汇帮助学生扫清部分阅读障碍；读中，有跟读、带读、自己读，图片环游等等，用不同方式来激发学生的阅读兴趣；读后，设计丰富有效的活动进一步巩固加强故阅读内容的理解，一节课让学生收获颇丰。

Through this month's demonstration activities, all the foreign teachers demonstrated their teaching abilities. They expressed their own opinions and gave the comments about others’ classes. Let's look forward to the next round of demonstration classes.

通过本月的展示课活动，外教老师们进一步展示了自己的教学能力。在这一整轮展示课全部结束后，全体外教老师们及时的进行了听评课活动。他们各抒己见，表达了自己想法与建议，争取在接下来的课堂教学活动中，能够取得更大的进步与突破。让我们一起来期待下一次的外教展示课活动。
