外教教研 精彩纷呈
To make foreign teachers develop teaching favorably, get to know more about the teaching objectives,and improve the quality and efficiency of teaching fleetly, we had our first teaching and research activities of foreign teachers in the primary school hall on September 4th. We had Mr. Leo , the principal of primary school and Miss Apple ,the group leader of English department with us together. The host of this activity is Miss Suzy , who is the assistant of foreign teachers.
为了更好地开展教师的教学工作，加强外籍教师的业务水平，提升教学质量。9月4日上午，小学部全体外教在阶梯教室召开了本学期第一次教研活动。很荣幸邀请到校长助理刘光元及英语组教研组长王喻出席了此次教研活动，活动由小学部外教干事张娟兰主持.
Mr. Leo , the principle of primary school , confers upon Mr Stuart the English leader of foreign teachers in our Wei Ming school.

The Teaching and Research Committee aims to introduce the basic situation, curriculum, materials, classes and regulations of the school to the new foreign teachers.Meanwhile ,try to understand the foreign teachers on the teaching modes of the opinions and suggestions to strengthen their teaching ability. Therefore ,we could promote the teaching work to achieve better results.
本次教研会旨在向新外教介绍我校基本情况，课程设置，教材内容，班型介绍，以及学校的规章制度。关心外籍教师在我校的工作情况，并同时了解外籍教师关于教学方式等方面的意见以及建议，加强中外教师的密切配合与衔接，从而促使外教教学工作能够取得更好的成果。
The discussion focuses on how to use Wonders, SSRW, Bright, Readers ,Corner stone more effectively. So that we could improve our students' spoken English ability.Teacher Stuart shared his teaching experience in spoken English class and put forward some problems.For example, when you teach sentences,which word you should teach first ,and how to make it easier for students to understand. The rest of foreign teachers also shared theirs teaching experiences. And how to do classroom management through different cultural background.
会上，外教教研组长Stuart老师围绕如何更有效使用Wonders,SSRW,Bright Readers，corner stone等教材，提升学生英语综合能力，如何设计课堂活动以及提高学生学习积极性展开分享了自己的教学经验，另外中外老师还分享了自己的授课体会，以及如何有效组织课堂，进行课堂教学的经验；大家畅所欲言，讨论气氛热烈。
Overall, the meeting was a great success . It get clear about the request in teaching and build an excellent foundation for a strong start to the English teaching work in primary school! The communication and exchange between Chinese and English teachers were strengthened through this teaching and research activities. At the same time,It has promoted the development of our English Teaching effectively.
本次教研活动的召开，使大家明确了新学期教学工作要求，理清了教学工作思路，拉近中外教师的关系，同时也有力地推动了我校英语教学工作的开展。
